Three trainings on Health and First Aid in Bihać, Tuzla and Sarajevo

As part of the BRAT project, trainers from the Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Italian Red Cross conducted three joint training courses on Community Based Health and First Aid. The trainings were held from the 16th to the 23th of September in the Canton Sarajevo, Tuzla Canton and Una Sana Canton. 60 Red Cross volunteers took part in the trainings. All present volunteers have great experiences in working with migrants or local communities. 

The trainings were conducted on topics such as:
✔️How to better understand the topic of Community Based Health and First Aid
✔️Epidemiology and how to better understand disease spreading, how to access data and collect it
✔️How to improve work in the local communities and how to asses the needs through CEA approach
✔️Better understand Public Health situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and migration health

The participants had chance to better understand CBHFA approach through many simulations and group works. During the next period, all participants will conduct community session within their local communities as well as with migrant communities on different health topics.
