My name is
Samira, I'm 21 years old, and I come from Somalia, precisely from Mogadishu. In my
country, I left my mother, my siblings, and my dad, although I don't really
care about him. Before leaving I was very young, and I was studying in high
school. I had to leave because of some problems with my family. After leaving
Somalia, I lived in Cyprus for a while. From there, at some point I decided to
take a plane to Serbia, and then to Bosnia.
It has been almost three months that I am living in TRC
Borici. After Bosnia, I would like to go to Germany, but to be honest, I don't
really know why. I don't have any family members there, but it seems like
everyone is going to Germany, so why not? It looks like a good place to start a
new journey. There, I hope to learn the language and find a job.
What I miss
the most right now is my mom. Life here in Borici is ok, I like it. I don't
really go out of the camp to the city, so I spend most of my time at the Social
Café with the people there. I like all of their activities.
Right now,
I don't have a biggest dream. I used to, but now I don't have anymore. I once
dreamed about becoming a psychologist, maybe in Germany I will be able to do
that.
