Effective Intercultural Communication in Transit Centres

On the 28th and 29th of February, a training about Effective Intercultural Communication in Transit Centers took place in the NCM Ivan Pavao II in Sarajevo. Operators from IPSIA BiH visited their colleagues from Caritas BiH, intending to open a profitable discussion and exchange best practices about Intercultural Dialogue with beneficiaries in Transit Centers.

As the BRAT Project envisages the administration of questionnaires and interviews to the users of Social Corners, Intercultural Communication is an essential tool for BRAT Operators. In particular, it allows them to perform the Stories from the Field interviews, (which you can find at this link).

During this exchange, the IPSIA BiH operators from Bihac also had the opportunity to visit the Usivak and Blazuj TRCs. This opportunity was indeed extremely useful to better understand the reception system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
