As part of the BRAT project, on the occasion of World Health Day, trainers from the Red Cross Society of B&H and the Italian Red Cross conducted three joint training courses on Advanced First Aid (FA). The trainings were held from the 7th to the 19th of April, in the cantons of Sarajevo, Una Sana, and Tuzla.
More than 60 Red Cross volunteers took part in the courses. These volunteers are involved daily in the provision of healthcare services for both the Bosnian local community and migrants along the Balkan route.

At the end of each course, a First Aid simulation was held in each canton, open to the local community. This is a reminder that First Aid is truly essential, and even just a basic knowledge can save lives
